James Gardens
James Gardens are a real contender for the most prominent park in the City. They were built by Fred T. James who back in 1908 purchased property on the west bank of Humber River and spent the next few decades on construction.
Bronte Creek
Bronte Creek is a true gem of recreational parks in Ontario. It's only 30 years old but has already managed to establish itself as a popular destination with over 250,000 visits each year.
Etobicoke Centennial Park.
Located in the former city of Etobicoke, Centennial Park is a favourite destination for many Greater Toronto residents. With over 525 acres of land, it's one of the largest urban parks in Canada, offering a wide variety of year-round recreational activities for visitors of all ages.
Centennial Park Conservatory & Greenhouse.
The botanical gardens of the Conservatory are comprised of three glasshouses, each offering a different display of plants and flowers. Tropical birds, gold fish swimming in a small pond as well as mini waterfall create a truly serene scene.
High Park.
While many would consider fall to be the best time to visit High Park, spring is not to be missed, either. For a few days in early May, the Japanese cherry trees present a spectacular display.
