The 25th edition of the Carassauga Festival of Cultures was another successful event in the festival's history. Over 60 countries proudly displayed their best over the last weekend in May, setting the expectations high for the future.

For over 72 years, the Club’s goal has been, using the varied creative talents of all its members, the construction and operation of a miniature railway system that re-creates the feel of a late 1950’s railroad. A visiting Conrail marketing executive, who has worked in the rail industry for over 20 years, remarked that it sounded and felt like a real railway.
Toronto Christmas Train Show.
The Toronto Christmas Train Show was once again held at the International Centre in Mississauga. This annual event is now in its 14th year and, according to antiquetoys.ca, has grown to be the largest train show in Canada with over 50 displays and operating layouts.
The Toronto Santa Claus Parade
The 2009 Toronto Santa Clause Parade will take place on Sunday, November 15th. The parade route will differ slightly from last year\\\'s. The event begins at 12:30PM at the intersection of Christie and Bloor St. West.
Caribana
Some 15,000 people took part in the 42nd Caribana Parade, dazzling hundreds of thousands of onlookers with colourful and skimpy costumes. The success of this year's event confirms it as the largest Caribbean festival in North America.
Canadian National Exhibition.
Canadian National Exhibition, commonly referred to as 'The Ex', is the largest fair in Canada and one of the largest in North America with an annual attendance exceeding 1.3 million.
The Mississauga Marathon.
The 2009 Mississauga Marathon celebrated its 5th anniversary with a record number of participants. Over 10,000 runners took part in races of varying distances, including 800 kids running/walking a 2km stretch to complete the event.
