As reported by CBC News: Wieslaw Duda, 50, a father of two, was shot in the city's port lands area near downtown after being chased by police. A neighbour interviewed by CBC's John Lancaster stated that while Duda suffered from schizophrenia, he was always medicated and, thus, harmless.

The person killed by police that night was my brother in law..
Not a thief,not a criminal, not a junkie.
He was a father of my 7 year old niece and my 18 year old nephew.
He was a sick man ,he was constantly running.. Running from himself...hiding from the world..
The system has failed him and his family.
